- Welcome to the second semester!
I am excited to share this new learning platform with you. You will have the opportunity to use this space to share your learning and connect in new ways.
You may have your own blog already, but if not, we can learn together – I am new to this too!
If you are in Grade 10 Locally Developed English, we will be exploring war. We will attempt to answer the question “Why do we fight?” We will be exploring this topic through viewing World of Conflict by Kevin Sites, and reading a variety of texts.
If you are in Grade 11/12 Workplace English, we will be exploring your skills and attributes as they relate to finding a suitable career. We will also explore how we view the world around us through images. Hopefully, we will create some new blogs together!
And finally, if you are in Grade 11 Biology, we will be exploring issues related to cell biology, microbiology, genetics, anatomy, and plant biology. You will be asked to research a topic that interests you.
I firmly believe that in order to be successful, you need to take an active roll in your learning! So time to get involved:
